Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
The self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is worn to provide breathable air in an atmosphere that can be immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Those environments contain little or no oxygen, with high concentrations of often unknown gases.
All of our SCBA cylinders are Scott 4.5 SCBA’s. Their 4500 psi carbon fiber cylinder is filled with fresh air compressed to the Grade D standards of the Compressed Gas Association, and tested to the CSA 180.1-00 Standards. Depending on the cylinder choice the SCBA provides you with either 30 minutes or 60 minutes of air.
A copy of the drivers license, proof of insurance, valid TDG certificate and a credit card are required to hold and rent the equipment.
Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus (SABA)
The supplied air breathing apparatus (SABA) is worn to provide breathable air in an atmosphere that can be immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). SABA’s are a combination of supplied-air respirators and escape bottles. The airline provides the workers with fresh air during their activities while providing 5 minutes of emergency escape breathing air via the hip bottle.
All of our SABA’s are Scott brand. The carbon fiber cylinder is filled with fresh air compressed to the Grade D standards of the Compressed Gas Association, and tested to the CSA 180.1-00 Standards.
A copy of the drivers license, proof of insurance, valid TDG certificate and a credit card are required to hold and rent the equipment.

Our breathing air trailers contain everything you need for your next project that requires respiratory protection. This includes 2x SCBA’s, 4x SABA’s, hoses, manifolds, and breathing air cascades.
